Guesthouse Gerði

If you want to enjoy the Glacier Lagoon Breidamerkurlon, the National Park Skaftafell and a trip to the top of Vatnajokull Glacier, then you should stay with us. We are close to the sea and right beneath beautiful mountains with a fantastic view towards the glaciers. Gerði in Sudursveit is situated in the middle between Skaftafell National Park and the town Hofn in Hornafjordur. We are 13 km east of the glaicer lagoon Jökulsárlón and 67 km west of the town Höfn. Good hiking paths are around and close to the guest house.
The guesthouse is open all year around.
We have 35 rooms, all with private bathrooms.
Breakfast and dinner are available all year around.

We run a sheep farm at Gerði with 500 winterfed sheep. There are also a few horses on the farm.
